Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of an Activities Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing and delivering a variety of events and activities designed to promote the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
  • Manage logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of event attendance and resident feedback
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as recreation therapy or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role or relevant industry sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
