Role Overview

Mason Technology is a leading provider of laboratory and analytical instruments, seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Field Service Engineer.

This permanent full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic service department environment, supporting Weighing Technical Support Team initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing installations, preventative maintenance, and responding to breakdowns on Mettler Toledo weighing equipment. They will also work in pharmaceutical environments utilizing force calibration units for tank and vessel weighing.

A strong background in electrical/instrumentation/mechanical engineering and previous experience in similar technical roles are essential for this position. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on weighing equipment
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve issues and provide solutions
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient completion of outstanding calls
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/instrumentation/mechanical engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical role
