Financial Expertise: A Strategic Role

Job Description:

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including month-end analysis and budgeting, to inform business decisions.
  • Support the analysis of financial performance, interpreting key metrics and KPIs to drive strategic growth.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to review product margins and inform pricing strategies.
  • Ensure the accuracy of stock recording systems, aligning physical stock levels with recorded data.
  • Work closely with Financial Controllers to maintain robust financial controls across the organization.
  • Prepare annual budgets and assist in developing rolling cash flow forecasts to drive financial planning.
  • Oversee cash flow management, monitoring daily balances and supporting forward planning initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with tax requirements, preparing and submitting returns as necessary.
  • Liaise with external auditors and advisors during year-end processes and other financial matters.
  • Contribute to cost control initiatives by reviewing and managing overheads.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance staff as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 23 years of experience, preferably in a similar hands-on role.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
