**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced SHEQ professional to join our team in a key management role. As SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant UK legislation and regulations.

  • Developing and implementing SHEQ policies and procedures
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance
  • Risk assessments and method statements for activities involving machinery and hazardous materials
  • Investigating incidents and implementing preventative measures

The successful candidate will have a strong background in EHS practices, expertise in woodworking machinery safety, chemical handling, and waste management, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of EHS practices in joinery manufacturing, construction fit-out, and recycling operations
  • Expertise in woodworking machinery safety, chemical handling, and waste management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to drive EHS initiatives
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and develop practical solutions
