Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SHEQ professional to join our team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will oversee health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance on active construction sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to H&S legislation and internal standards
  • Support the site team with risk assessments, method statements, and accident/incident reporting
  • Act as a key liaison with regulators, third-party inspectors, and internal audits
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety workshops, and training sessions to promote a positive safety culture
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years' experience in a site-based SHEQ role within civil engineering or construction
  • NEBOSH OHAS Diploma or Certification (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office and digital site tools
  • Full driving licence and the right to work in Ireland
  • Knowledge of lifting operations and temporary works is a plus
