- Identify gaps and emerging opportunities in the food service sector, supporting product innovation and category growth.
- Support sourcing of new, existing, and replacement products aligned with customer demand and business strategy.
- Take responsibility for specific product ranges, including supplier negotiations, pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
- Assist in the development and management of supplier contracts, incorporating promotional pricing and volume planning.
- Research local and wider market trends, preparing competitor analysis and reports to inform commercial decisions.
- Monitor margin reports to detect pricing errors or margin erosion and support pricing accuracy.
- Open and maintain product codes, ensuring systems are current with accurate supplier information.
- Provide accurate reports, including sample tracking, promotional activity, and ad hoc analysis, to support commercial planning.
Requirements:
