Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced infrastructure specialist to join our team in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for online services.

Responsibilities:
  • Support a hybrid CI/CD DevOps virtualized infrastructure that consists of Windows and Linux Server OS, Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, PowerShell scripting.
  • Perform automated operating system installation and configuration.
  • Configure and maintain hands-on bare metal enterprise-class server systems, including firmware and driver updates.
  • Monitor servers and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
  • Transition manual operational processes to automation while leveraging CI/CD DevOps principles.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Trade Certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Ireland (citizenship or valid visa/work permit required).

  • This role requires specialized security screenings such as the Microsoft Cloud Background Check, which must be completed on hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Familiarity with enterprise large-scale cloud or distributed systems is preferred.
  • A basic understanding of Windows Server OS and UNIX-based operating systems including enterprise-level Linux distributions performing automated system installation and configuration, file system concepts, resource monitoring, user administration, package management, and process control and management.
