Senior Security Engineer Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our team and support our clients in achieving their cybersecurity goals.

This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security technologies, including SIEM systems, cloud security, and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.

In addition to technical expertise, this role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive cybersecurity solutions to address client needs.
  • Configure and analyze SIEM systems to detect and respond to potential threats.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of security processes and procedures.
  • Communicate security findings and recommendations to client stakeholders, including executive leadership and technical teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in information security/cybersecurity engineering, systems administration, or network security.
  • Punctuality and timely attendance to client and stakeholder needs.

Desired Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • SIEM: Hands-on experience with Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, or Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Cloud Security: Experience securing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
  • Programming languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent.

Project Management and Communication Skills:

  • Flexibility to accommodate changing project schedules and willingness to work extended hours when needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to reduce problems into manageable sizes.
