About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of structural solutions for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations for steel, concrete, and other materials.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior engineers, providing guidance and oversight throughout the design process.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure effective project delivery.
- Ensure that all structural designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure that construction work aligns with the design.
- Provide technical leadership in resolving engineering issues that may arise during project execution.
- Oversee the preparation of design documentation and ensure its accuracy and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Chartered Engineer status (or close to achieving it) is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
- In-depth knowledge of European building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and develop junior engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
