Sales Support Specialist

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our valued clients. Your primary focus will be on placing classified ads in our print and digital publications, ensuring that customers have a seamless experience from start to finish.

This role involves a mix of inbound support, outbound follow-ups, including sales and cold calling, as well as email communication to help customers place ads, answer queries, and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on placing ads in our publications.
  • Assist with account setup, publication selection, date management, ad type selection, and payment processing.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Engage in outbound calls to existing or lapsed customers to offer reminders, special deals, or assist with new advertising needs.
  • Encourage customers to transition from print to digital advertising options.
  • Monitor customer orders and follow up on any issues that may arise.
  • Support sales and advertising initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in phone-based and email-based customer support.
  • Proven ability in outbound calling and upselling.
