Maintenance Team Lead Job

This is a pivotal leadership role that oversees the smooth operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all site equipment and systems. The Maintenance Team Leader plays a crucial part in managing daily maintenance activities, leading a high-performing team, and contributing to the overall reliability and efficiency of the site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with hands-on experience in equipment and system maintenance. They should be able to demonstrate proven leadership experience within a maintenance or engineering team and possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Coaching and supporting teams in the implementation of industrial workflows, driving process improvements, and promoting a culture of continuous growth.
  • Taking on full maintenance management responsibilities during absences, ensuring seamless operations and performance.
  • Assisting in managing and directing day-to-day activities of the maintenance team, setting priorities, assigning tasks, and minimizing disruption to production.
  • Oversighting both planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Participating in regular cross-functional meetings to align maintenance goals with broader operational and business objectives.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within a maintenance or engineering team.
  • A strong technical background with hands-on experience in equipment and system maintenance.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage shifting maintenance needs effectively.
