Job Overview

As a skilled and experienced site engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that all works are completed to a high standard and in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out and checking works as required for the project
  • Performing quality control checks on completed works to ensure they meet required standards
  • Coordinating daily tasks with sub-contractors and site personnel to achieve project objectives
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards on site
  • Supporting project stakeholders to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard
  • Maintaining effective relationships with construction management teams, subcontractors, and site personnel

Requirements

  • A degree in engineering or related field is required
  • Experience with main contracting on RC frame projects, including taking frames out of the ground
  • Proficiency in setting out for multi-storey structures
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in an engineering role with a main building contractor
  • Ability to use setting out instruments and demonstrate competence in set out, survey, and level, temporary works coordination
