Leading Software Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to oversee the development and deployment of cutting-edge technology. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading one or more engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products on time.

About the Role

This is a challenging role that requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills. You will need to be hands-on, with solid experience in all parts of the technology stack, including infrastructure, client-side, back-end, performance, data, and others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to code reviews, provide expert-level coaching and guidance to engineers.
  • Develop people by inspiring them to achieve their potential and integrating new hires into the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver software products on time.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements

  • Extremely proficient in at least one programming language.
  • Strong experience in systems architecture, particularly in complex, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
  • Demonstrable experience as a system owner with operational responsibility.
  • Proficient in lower-level engineering.
  • DevOps culture - agility, leanness, automation, CI/CD, and good understanding of application security.
