Commercial Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing budgets, leading procurement strategies and subcontractor management, identifying risks and opportunities, conducting examinations of contract documents and ensuring contract compliance, recording details relating to contractual delays, mentoring a small team of Quantity Surveyors, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage budgets effectively
  • Lead procurement strategies and subcontractor management processes
  • Identify and mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
  • Conduct thorough examinations of contract documents and ensure compliance
  • Record and analyze details related to contractual delays
  • Mentor and support a team of Quantity Surveyors

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within a Main Contractor environment
  • Proven experience managing high-value contracts
  • Large-scale project experience in Ireland or the UK
  • Membership of the MSCSI or working towards chartership
  • Valid working rights within Ireland
