Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on delivering projects to the required specifications and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, as well as leading and motivating a team of trade and managerial staff. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that projects are delivered to the correct specifications and required quality / industry standards.
  • Managing a number of projects to a conclusion as well as managing a team consisting of trade & managerial staff.
  • Planning work in a way which ensures that key milestones and completion dates are achieved.
  • Financial Management, Predicting cost to completion.
  • Management of Sub – Contractors.
  • Full involvement across the project lifespan; ensuring successful project delivery & handover.
  • On site review and management of building services installation to ensure contract compliance.
  • Attend project meetings & assist in producing weekly progress reports.
  • Build relationships with clients/ contractors & subcontractors on site.

Requirements:

  • 5 years + in a similar role.
  • Proven previous contract / site management skills with relevant commercial mechanical experience.
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise and manage workload to required deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project Management Experience.
  • Sub contract & Direct labour management experience.
  • Mechanical Design.
