Job Title: Service Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the needs of service users are met, teaching daily living and social skills, establishing positive relationships, engaging in activities, completing tasks, keeping accurate records, and performing other duties as required.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the service users' needs are being met
  • Teach the service users necessary daily living and social skills through daily activities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with the service users
  • Engage in activities and complete tasks
  • Keep accurate record of service user's documentation

Requirements:
  • Degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification eligible for CORU registration or be CORU Registered
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with adults/children with intellectual disabilities
  • Proven managerial skills with a minimum of three years' experience at a management level and an appropriate management qualification of a minimum of a QQI level 6
  • Ability to work on his/her own initiative and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting
  • Experience of managing tasks and supervising staff
  • Good organisation and communications skills
