AP Process Improvement Specialist

Accountable for driving business success by effectively managing Accounts Payable operations and processes.
Responsibilities- Supervise AP functions with previous experience in an AP leadership role
- Apply strong team management skills to lead cross-functional teams
- Independently oversee AP processes and take initiative to enhance efficiency
- Maintain solid knowledge of financial regulations and controls surrounding AP operations
- Develop and implement innovative AP processes to boost productivity
- Analyze AP operations and identify opportunities to streamline processes
- Coordinate supplier set ups, collaborate with procurement, and ensure high-standard AP controls are upheld
- Adhere to financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements to prevent non-compliance
- Support month-end closing activities and prepare accurate reports
- Execute regular payment runs in accordance with established procedures
- Prior experience in an AP supervisory or leadership role
- Excellent team leadership and communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with financial regulations and industry best practices
