Job Title: Banking Operations Manager
A well-established financial institution seeks an experienced banking operations manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of a small team. As a key member of the treasury team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of core data within our Treasury Management System (TMS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the workload and deliverables of a small team.
  • Maintain all team applications, trackers, and mailboxes to a high standard in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and timelines.
  • Responsible for maintaining core data within the TMS.
  • Monitor and capture quality-related metrics.
  • Manage multiple areas within the treasury team, including opening and closing operating, custody, and virtual accounts, managing signatories on accounts, setting up, amending, and obtaining information on services on accounts.
  • Deal with ad-hoc requests from AIG businesses and manage/support projects as required.
  • Ensure compliance by business units with AIG's Global Bank Account policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with a small team and independently manage items.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties for the bank administration manager as required.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate treasury, cash management, or bank administration environment or similar.
  • Previous supervisor/manager experience is an advantage.
  • Understanding of constitutive documents and other bank administration documents is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with payments and reporting such as Swift messaging types and formats is advantageous.
  • Experience of responding to KYC/AML/Sanctions requests from banks is essential.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proven ability to multitask, manage, and prioritize a varied workload effectively.
  • Demonstrated awareness of controls and risks, including experience of responding to SOX audit requests is ideal.
  • Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve items to completion without close oversight.
  • Prior experience using a Treasury Management System is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail is mandatory.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are desirable.
