Advertising Support Specialist

The Advertising Support Specialist role involves providing seamless support to customers in placing classified ads across various channels. This includes working with new and regular customers over the phone and via email to ensure a smooth experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in placing ads through various channels, including phone, email, and self-service website.
  • Guide users through account setup, publication selection, ad types, and payment completion.
  • Handle customer queries, issues, and deadlines to maintain a smooth process.
  • Reach out to existing or lapsed customers for reminders, special deals, or assistance with new advertising needs.
  • Promote the transition from print to digital advertising options.
  • Monitor customer orders and follow up on any arising issues.
  • Support sales and advertising team initiatives as required.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • Comfortable handling phone-based and email-based customer support.
  • Proven ability in outbound calling and upselling.
