Senior Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist to lead the development of new dairy enzyme products, driving scientific progress and innovation in the industry.

  • Develop and implement innovative dairy enzyme applications, leveraging expertise in biochemistry, biochemical engineering, or related fields
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Kerry's dairy enzyme portfolio, providing guidance on product development and application
  • Manage cross-functional projects, collaborating with global teams to deliver results-driven solutions
  • Plan and execute laboratory experiments and pilot plant trials to support product innovation and optimization
  • Support intellectual property efforts, including patent filings and cases, to protect innovations
  • Contribute to innovation scouting and competitor benchmarking to stay ahead in the market
  • Travel up to 10% for customer engagements and internal meetings
Qualifications and Skills:
  • PhD in Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Dairy Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in enzyme research or application, ideally within dairy
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of taking products from concept to launch
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation
  • Experience in patent writing and a working understanding of patent legislation
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
