The ideal candidate will excel at designing and building performant systems that meet the needs of diverse customers.

This role involves end-to-end development from conception to production, with a focus on delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop features and systems with attention to detail and performance.
  • Owning end-to-end development, from conception to production delivery.
  • Engineer not only solutions but also tools to understand complex problems.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver world-class products.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience engineering performant and high-throughput systems.
  • Write high-quality code and be uniquely productive.
  • Have a track record of building performant, high-throughput systems.
  • Experience working with no-sql databases at scale.
  • Experience with major cloud services.
  • An empathetic communicator.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and have consistently delivered projects with little direction.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with multiplayer applications that leverage WebSockets.
  • Experience building large-scale SaaS platforms supporting millions of users.
  • Experience with micro-services and event-driven architecture.
  • Expertise with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.
