We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to design and develop performant systems that enable collaborative visual tools. As part of our team, you will solve complex technical challenges, build features used by millions, and shape the future of digital collaboration.

Your Role

As a Backend Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to build high-quality software systems with attention to detail and performance. You will own end-to-end development, from conception to production, ensuring seamless integration with other teams.

  • Design and develop scalable backend systems for high-throughput applications.
  • Owning the full development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, to deliver robust and efficient solutions.
  • Develop innovative tools and solutions to understand and address complex problems.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver world-class products.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing systems to enhance overall efficiency and scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • No less than 8 years of experience in engineering performant and high-throughput systems.
  • High-quality code and exceptional productivity.
  • A proven track record of building scalable, high-throughput systems.
  • Experience working with no-sql databases at scale.
  • Familiarity with major cloud services.
  • An empathetic communicator able to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver projects with minimal direction.
  • A product-minded approach with good intuition on delivering great user experiences.
