Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager to lead large-scale mechanical projects, ensuring timely delivery and staying within budget. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend project start-up meetings and oversee all mechanical aspects to deliver the project on time and within budget.
  • Familiarise yourself with project details and specifications.
  • Manage technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and followed through until approval.
  • Track labour and maintain weekly Progress Reports, reporting and managing any changes/variations.
  • Liaise with main contractors and site teams.
  • Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
  • Evaluate material requirements and ensure adequate supplies for project completion.
  • Develop and implement construction and commissioning programmes.
  • Manage handover processes and document management systems.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and action points from general site meetings.
  • Communicate innovative project-specific works to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project scheduling and activities as required.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role.
  • A proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
  • Construction/Project Management qualification preferred.
  • Experience supervising teams.
