Job Overview:

We are seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to join our residential care home team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of daily community operations
  • Coordination and support for community activities
  • Acting as point of contact for family members when needed
  • Collaboration with Nurse Manager, Housekeeper, and staff
  • Driving community vehicles to various destinations
  • Addressing concerns or grievances in a calm and sensitive manner
  • Engagement in daily routines and events of the community
  • Undertaking additional tasks deemed necessary by Management
  • Maintaining understanding of and compliance with Safeguarding Policy
Key Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise own work
  • Conflict Resolution skills: Diplomacy and fairness in mediating concerns
  • Minimum of 2 years working with elderly people
  • Computer literacy
  • Basic health and safety knowledge
  • Flexibility
  • Full Driving Licence
