Overview
Our restaurant is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in the heart of The City Centre.
We are seeking an individual who can work effectively as part of a team under pressure, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
This role will give you the opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced professional environment.

">Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your assigned section according to established recipes and standards.
2. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station, ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
3. Monitor portion control and minimize waste to support kitchen efficiency.
4. Work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations.
5. Contribute to the development of new dishes and menu items through suggestions and feedback.
6. Support junior staff with training and guidance as needed.
7. Ensure all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned, maintained, and stored.">

1. Previous experience in a similar role or a strong commis background in a high-volume or fine-dining kitchen.
2. Culinary qualification or relevant training preferred.
3. Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards (e.g., HACCP).
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team under pressure.
5. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for food.
6. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.">
