We are seeking highly skilled and experienced chefs to fill various positions within our organization across multiple industries including Healthcare, Industrial and Hospitality.

As a Relief Chef, you will have the opportunity to work in different environments and gain new experiences as well as develop your culinary skills further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a well-organized kitchen environment with all necessary cooking utensils and equipment available.
  • Cook food in a timely manner adhering to high standards of quality.
  • Supervise kitchen staff effectively and provide support when needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Delegate tasks efficiently to kitchen staff.
  • Monitor food stock levels regularly to avoid waste and optimize inventory management.
  • Follow dietary requirements if applicable and adhere to established HACCP procedures at all times.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Proven previous experience as a chef with a strong track record of success.
  • Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment is essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, baking, and pastry arts is required.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills are crucial for effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and take on various tasks with ease.
  • Excellent time management skills are vital for meeting deadlines and delivering results under pressure.
  • Relevant chef qualification is mandatory.
