Financial Accountant Role

The Financial Accountant is responsible for overseeing the company's financial activities, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing tasks. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of post-qualification experience with a Big 4 or Top 10 audit background.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Closing activities for Group operations on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Development of the monthly management reporting pack for each entity in the Group
  • Process improvement initiatives and best practices implementation
  • Business partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to implement new processes
  • Analysis of complex accounting issues and provision of accounting/financial analysis to senior management
  • External audit activities coordination and liaison with 3rd parties regarding local statutory and regulatory reporting
  • Cash-flow forecasting

Required Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA)
  • 2 years PQE with Big 4 or Top 10 audit training
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task and plan work schedule
  • Commercial awareness with ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of wider business factors
