Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to oversee a portfolio of high-profile contracts, focusing on delivering exceptional service quality, fostering a positive team ethos, and ensuring client satisfaction through continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage budgets for all contracts under their control, ensuring effective cost management and meeting financial objectives.
  • Promote and deliver the company's goals to meet or exceed quality standards and customer support objectives.
  • Ensure safe working environments exist for subcontractors to perform functions without interruption to the business.
  • Manage all aspects of contracts under their control, including mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance.
  • Provide guidance to clients as needed, including energy management to minimize costs and increase efficiencies.
  • Establish and manage quality measures and procedures to enable two-way communication and achieve feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Manage cost control and review costs with the objective of reducing subcontractor costs.
  • Develop and deliver Service Level Agreements for each client and sub-contractor contract.
  • Measure and monitor the effectiveness of service delivery against agreed SLAs and KPIs to ensure deductions are kept to a minimum.
  • Facilitate and manage training requirements to ensure staff are fully trained in all aspects of service provision.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures for the team.
  • Support commercial functions of the business as required, including assistance with labour or subcontractor elements during tendering process.
  • Client satisfaction, project works, contractual documents and KPIs, sourcing and utilization of materials and subcontractors, quality of work, site audits, client reporting requirements, health and safety issues, monthly reports, administrative tasks, and compliance with statutory and company procedures.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis.
  • A minimum of five years' experience working in a regulated environment, two of which must be in management.
  • Financial and budgetary experience above a value of €1 million.
  • Project management experience.
  • Energy management experience/qualification would be advantageous.
  • Man management experience.
  • Third-level engineering qualification or equivalent.
  • Member of a relevant professional organization.
  • A Knowledge of Sales & Margins processes.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
