Lead Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our fabrication team. This role involves creating high-quality 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and collaborating with internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Model Development: Develop 3D models and fabrication drawings using SolidWorks for custom metalwork and structural components.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, take accurate measurements, and ensure design feasibility.
- Collaboration: Closely collaborate with other design engineers and departments to share ideas, ensure consistency, and resolve design challenges.
- Client Requirements: Interpret client specifications, technical documentation, and project briefs to deliver clear, accurate, and timely design packages.
- Design Standards: Assist with the development of design standards and templates to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to fabrication and workshop teams during production.
- Design Updates: Revise and update drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
- Compliance Evaluation: Evaluate designs for compliance with relevant standards, safety guidelines, and quality requirements.
- Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
