Our organization seeks an experienced Market Analyst to provide critical market intelligence and commercial insights that inform business decisions and growth strategies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • We require a skilled professional to monitor and analyze market developments, regulatory updates, auction frameworks, capacity market changes, carbon pricing, and competitor movements across the Irish and European energy markets.
  • The successful candidate will translate market insights into strategic briefings and commercial implications for our investment pipeline and strategic direction.
  • This role involves developing and maintaining a structured approach to reporting market and policy intelligence to senior leaders and project teams.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Postgraduate or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, MBA) are desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years' experience in market analysis, commercial analysis, or investment governance, preferably within the energy, infrastructure, or regulated sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish and EU energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and investment mechanisms is required.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience working with external advisors and consultants. They will also have experience engaging senior stakeholders, building consensus, and managing complex decision-making processes.
