Global Procurement Category Lead - Software and Hosting

Location: Madrid, Spain. Relocation support is available for the successful candidate.

We are seeking a Strategic Technology Procurement Manager to join our Global Procurement Category Management team in Madrid. This role will report into the Category Manager Global Technology and will be responsible for owning assigned software & hosting sub-categories within the Global Technology space.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in technology procurement and possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop and deploy global strategic procurement plans. They will also have excellent negotiation skills and be able to manage high-value contracts and vendors on a global level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning assigned software & hosting sub-categories within the Global Technology space
  • Developing and deploying global strategic procurement plans
  • Managing high-value contracts and vendors on a global level
  • Acting as a subject matter authority on technology procurement trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in global procurement of Technology (ideally Software & Hosting categories)
  • Knowledge of trends in the tech industry and the marketplaces for services
  • Validated experience building effective internal and external partner relationships
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical skills, and fantastic negotiation skills
  • Native or fluent speaking in English (minimum C1)
