Job Title: Senior Health and Safety Lead

Project Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our team on a high-profile commercial construction project in Dublin. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with an established safety team to ensure the project's health and safety procedures are meticulously adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are being stringently followed by the team.
  • Develop and issue relevant H&S templates to the internal team.
  • Monitor and report on site accidents and incidents, driving proactive measures to minimize risk.
  • Provide expert guidance on HSE management and compliance, ensuring seamless implementation across the project.
  • Cultivate a positive safety culture among employees and site staff, promoting open communication and a collaborative environment.
  • Foster a proactive HSE approach, emphasizing employee empowerment and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree qualification in a safety-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of working on building construction projects, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively.
  • Commercial acumen, with a solid grasp of business principles and their application to health and safety initiatives.
  • Able to write clear, concise reports that provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Significant experience as a senior-level safety advisor, with a proven ability to drive health and safety excellence within dynamic projects.
