We are seeking an experienced Process Optimisation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in process optimisation.
Job Description:The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline and significant experience in a manufacturing environment. You will have proven project management skills, strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to engineers, technicians, and operators
- Managing multiple engineering projects through the project management office
- Continuously improving process performance and implementing lean manufacture within manufacturing
The ideal candidate will have a Level 8 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of six years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven project management skills, strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team are essential.
A strong analytical and problem-solving skillset, a process improvement orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are also required.
