Content Strategist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled content strategist to join our team.

This role involves creating clear, consistent, and user-friendly content that meets the needs of diverse audiences.

  • Key responsibilities include identifying documentation development issues, shaping information architecture, and improving information maps and models.
  • You will also refine taxonomies, namespaces, and search patterns to enhance how users access and interact with content.
  • An additional responsibility is working with IT to assess system architecture and recommend updates that enhance content workflows and operational efficiency.
  • A strong candidate will support continuous improvement by recommending practical tools and processes that align with lean and cost-effective practices.
Requirements
  • To be successful in this role, you should have 5+ years of experience in technical content development and delivery.
  • Strong strategic planning experience, including documentation development and design, is also required.
  • Other essential skills include strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and a proven record of data-driven results thinking.
  • A degree in English, Technical Writing, or Rhetoric is also preferred.
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Aha, Agile processes, and software planning tools is necessary for success in this role.
  • Experience with clinical trials, medical authoring/editing, science writing, and FDA guidelines for technical communication is also desired.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools and processes and LLM solutions is an added advantage.
