Child Development Specialist

The role of a Child Development Specialist involves providing support to children and young people, 0-18 years, and their families in the Cork region.


Key responsibilities include coordinating and developing services to meet the needs of the service user group, carrying out social work duties as required, and being part of Inter-Family Service Plans (IFSPs).


To be successful in this role, applicants must possess professional qualifications, experience, and the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. They must also be registered on the Social Workers Register maintained by CORU, possess a full driving license, and have a minimum of one year's postgraduate experience working as a Professionally Qualified Social Worker.
