Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or junior quantity surveyors with 2-3 years of experience to develop their career.

This role will provide exposure to a variety of projects within the precast construction sector and the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing full quotations for precast frame projects.
  • Monitor live projects and track financial performance.
  • Submit monthly applications to clients for valuations and payments.
  • Liaise with various departments on project-related issues and variations.
  • Support in identifying, managing, and negotiating project variations.
  • Ensure accuracy in cost reporting and contract management.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, ideally within construction or precast manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Cubit Estimating Software is beneficial but not essential.
