Procurement Professional Role

As a Procurement Professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving efficient material procurement and planning for cutting-edge products.

This dynamic role involves strategic sourcing, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and vendor management to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with our sustainability objectives.

You'll forecast demand, optimize inventory, and support product development initiatives while contributing to operational and environmental performance targets.

  • Source electronic components, manage purchase orders, and forecast material needs in collaboration with production and R&D teams.
  • Build strong supplier relationships, ensure contract compliance, and identify cost-saving opportunities using tools like Should Cost and Benchmarking.
  • Align sourcing strategies with sustainability goals and support Value-Added (VAVE) initiatives to enhance product value and efficiency.
  • Work with quality teams to ensure all materials meet strict standards and resolve any supply issues promptly.
  • Leverage data to enhance purchasing decisions, forecast accuracy, and track sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in the procurement of electronic components within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Experience in material forecasting and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with local compliance and regulatory requirements for the UK and Irish markets.
