This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading accounting and advisory practice as a Tax Senior Manager in Limerick City.

Job Description

We are seeking a technically strong tax professional who excels in a consultancy-led environment, working across transaction support, due diligence, structuring, and technical advisory. The ideal candidate will have experience in transactional tax advisory, including due diligence, structuring, and risk review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of advisory-led tax engagements, with a focus on transactional work (buy- and sell-side DD, purchase order reviews, tax structuring).
  • Support corporate clients and internal teams on a wide range of tax advisory matters, including M&A, reorganisations, and inbound/outbound investments.
  • Act as a key technical point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear, strategic tax guidance.
  • Review technical reports, identify risk areas, and provide practical recommendations aligned with current legislation and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Corporate Finance, Audit, and Legal, on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • C coach and develop junior members of the team while contributing to internal technical training initiatives.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified, with 6+ years' experience in a corporate tax or advisory role within a Top 10 or large mid-tier practice.
  • Demonstrable expertise in transactional tax advisory, including due diligence, structuring, and risk review.
  • A high level of technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex tax issues to non-specialists in a clear and concise manner.
  • A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
