Financial Controller
We are seeking an experienced Cluster Financial Controller to oversee the finance departments across various regions, ensuring accurate financial reports, budgets, and cash flows. This role involves interpreting financial data to uncover trends and opportunities, ensuring compliance, and managing cash flow across properties.

About The Role
In this pivotal position, you will partner with senior property teams to ensure strategic focus and target tracking, representing hotels at monthly meetings with General Managers. Your key responsibilities include financial reporting & analysis, business partnering & strategic focus, and cash flow & compliance management. You will also be responsible for budgeting processes, stress-testing annual budgets, and analysing financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure robust weekly accounts, monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flows are produced for each property.
  • Represent hotels at monthly meetings with General Managers, delivering value-added insights to the head office team.
  • Oversee budgeting processes and stress-test annual budgets for realistic sales and cost targets.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with senior property teams to ensure strategic focus and target tracking.
  • Question costs, profit margins, and performance metrics with hotel General Managers and Financial Controllers.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset.
