Civil Engineering Supervisor

The role of Civil Engineering Supervisor involves overseeing the execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring that works are carried out in line with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor site operatives and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project plans and objectives.
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks to promote health & safety awareness and best practices among team members.
  • Coordinate plant, materials, and labour resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Resolve on-site issues or challenges efficiently, minimizing disruptions to the project schedule.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Ganger / Foreman on civil engineering or groundworks projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of civil engineering techniques, including drainage, utilities, concrete, earthworks, and roadworks.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schedules, and reports.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards shared goals.
  • Hold relevant tickets, such as Safe Pass, 360 operation, and CSCS Supervisor Card.
  • Strong focus on maintaining high health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
