Barista/Sales Assistant Job

We are currently seeking a friendly Full-Time Barista to join our team in Carrigtwohill.

This role involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the café, operating the till, handling cash and card transactions accurately, assisting with stock management and deliveries, and working as part of a team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and Serve Drinks: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks to a high standard.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the café.
  • Operate Till: Operate the till, handle cash and card transactions accurately.
  • Assist with Stock Management: Assist with stock management and deliveries.
  • Work as Part of a Team: Work as part of a team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or customer-facing role is an advantage.
  • Friendly and Reliable: Friendly, reliable, and good with people.
  • Ability to Work Well Under Pressure: Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Barista Training: Barista training or coffee knowledge is a bonus, but full training will be provided.
