About the Role

  • We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in a fixed-term capacity for 23 months.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering principles, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
  • The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying process improvements, and driving continuous learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality of process and product as defined in appropriate OS and material specifications.
  • Participate in FMEA, Control Plan, SOP, and PPAP generation associated with product transfers and scale-ups.
  • Support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, installation, and validation.
  • Provide training for manufacturing team members and interface with Materials Science, Design, and Quality Assurance departments.
  • Validate and support coating suppliers, machining suppliers, and raw material suppliers.
  • Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional and cross-divisional process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • A Level 8 Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 0-2 years' experience in an Engineering role, preferably in production, R&D, or biomedical fields.
  • Strong business understanding of operations and their impacts is essential.
  • High-level PC and analytical skills required.
  • Flexibility and strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders are necessary.
