Job Overview

The Manufacturing Maintenance Lead plays a pivotal role in directing and coordinating all technical and maintenance activities to support production in a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership
  • Apply effective methods of preventative and corrective maintenance to optimize resource deployment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through on-going assessment of equipment issues and reliability.
  • Maintenance Performance Metrics
  • Develop and track departmental KPIs to measure equipment and maintenance performance.
  • Asset Management
  • Champion and lead asset condition management using new technologies.
  • Team Supervision
  • Supervise employees, allocate work, coordinate training, and address issues up to the counselling stage of the disciplinary process.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 8+ years' experience in an Engineering / Technical / Maintenance Leadership role, preferably within the Life Science, Medical Device, and/or Pharmaceutical Industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, operations management).
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing maintenance operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
