Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

About This Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the store delivers exceptional customer service, achieves targets, and drives commercial and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the store, including overseeing sales floor operations and ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive sales and maximize profitability, through effective product knowledge and visual merchandising skills.
  • Achieving and exceeding targeted KPIs, including sales growth and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Leading and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional service through regular training and coaching.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective operational processes, procedures, and administration systems.
  • Recruitment and conducting performance/probation reviews for store staff.
  • Deputizing in the absence of the Store Manager.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous retail management experience at a similar level.
  • A passion for premium or luxury products, with a strong understanding of their appeal and benefits to customers.
  • A proven track record of increasing overall business performance through effective sales growth and customer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
