Social Care Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Social Care Assistant, providing high-quality support and care to individuals in our Residential Service.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Experience in facilitating and supporting people with high and complex needs is preferred.

Responsibilities include delivering on the vision for the individuals we support, advocating on their behalf, and developing appropriate supports to enable them to participate in meaningful activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals to gain valued social roles in their lives
  • Develop and implement individual plans to promote participation in creative activities
  • Advocate on behalf of individuals regarding their needs and preferences

Requirements:

  • No minimum level required for Social Care Assistant positions
  • Experience in supporting individuals with high and/or complex needs preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong belief in people's rights, inclusion, and equality
  • Flexibility to respond to service demands
