Job Summary:
The role of Biotechnology Production Manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing team, providing guidance and direction while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
">Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all documentation (SOPs, Manufacturing Records, Batch Sheets & Logbooks) is current, accurate, reviewed, and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and lead manufacturing specialist teams, including motivating and developing direct reports.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data to ensure effective and efficient operations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Implement a contamination-free program to ensure high process success rates, adhering to highest safety standards.
- Interface with other departments, such as Facilities, Process Sciences, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control.
- Develop and implement process improvements and robustness initiatives, leading to enhanced efficiency and productivity.
- Present manufacturing data for review and approval.
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. A strong background in Life Sciences, along with 8+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing within the Biopharma industry and 5+ years of supervisory experience, is necessary.
