Nurse Position for Intellectual Disability Care

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of person-centered care, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for service users. They will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of assigned areas and be willing to cover across all residential houses as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records and reports on service user progress and well-being
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each service user's needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support and services
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in intellectual disability care
Requirements:
- Current registration as a nurse with An Bord Altranais / NMBI
- Possession of RNID qualification or equivalent experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of HIQA Standards and relevant legislative requirements
- Excellent understanding of health, social, and emotional needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities
