Automation System Developer

A seasoned Automation System Developer is sought to spearhead the implementation of automation systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and develop automation systems and processes for production and R&D.
  • Optimize operations, reduce waste, and boost throughput by streamlining workflows.
  • Integrate automation solutions with existing equipment and infrastructure.
  • Project Planning & Collaboration:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed automation solutions.
  • Installation, Testing & Commissioning:
  • Oversee the installation of automation equipment and hardware.
  • Manage testing and commissioning to ensure operational readiness and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for seamless delivery and integration.
  • Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with automation hardware and software.
  • Implement preventative maintenance and reliability improvements.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements for optimal productivity.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure all automation systems comply with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, maintenance procedures, and project reports.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Training & Support:
  • Train end-users and maintenance teams on system operation and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to ensure smooth production and R&D workflows.
