Overview

The Project Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Delivery: Collaborate with Contracts and Project Managers to plan and deliver projects aligned with company strategy and values. Implement and monitor project planning systems, ensuring roles are understood and fulfilled. Promote detailed planning focusing on constructability.
  • Safety, Health, Quality & Environment (HSQE): Foster a safety-first culture, ensure adherence to HSQE standards, conduct regular inspections, promote safe practices, ensure quality compliance, manage performance improvement reports, and monitor environmental measures.
  • Productivity Monitoring & Improvement: Track site productivity, develop improvement plans, analyze metrics, and drive continuous enhancements through data-driven decision making and lean methodologies.
  • Labor, Plant & Resource Coordination: Support resource distribution, prioritize requirements, collaborate on equipment needs, and evaluate plant performance for innovations.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work with internal teams on planning, design, logistics, safety, quality, human resources, tendering, and resource planning to ensure alignment and buildability.
  • Commercial Support: Assist with budget reviews, programme updates, cost assessments, and identify efficiencies.
  • Leadership & Reporting: Mentor site teams, foster a culture of excellence, lead by example, and present project updates to senior directors.

About You

Minimum 10 years' experience in construction management, managing multiple sites. Proven leadership, planning, and resource management skills. Strong knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
