Senior Systems Developer

We are seeking a skilled professional to occupy the role of DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of scalable application development, with proficiency in languages such as Java or Python, and strong SQL skills.
The successful individual will be responsible for building and maintaining large-scale applications, working closely with cross-functional teams, and identifying opportunities to improve automation processes. A key aspect of this position is combining CI/CD and Reliability engineering functions for software systems in AWS and Azure platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement scalable applications using cloud-based platforms.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to design, propose, and implement technical solutions.
- Identify end-user requirements and develop metrics to measure Web app performance, data analytics, and ETL processes.
- Establish Service Level Objectives (SLO) and Service Level Agreements (SLA), performance measurements, and failure mitigation strategies.
- 2-5 years of proven experience in DevOps or Platform/SRE Engineering.
- Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and monitoring services in AWS/Azure.
- Strong understanding of source control (Git, GitHub) and feature branching strategies.
- Experience in developing workflow in CI/CD orchestration tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of networking, DNS, routing, and messaging between services.
- AWS and Azure Cloud Certifications.
- Proficiency in application development (Python, Groovy, JavaScript).
- Ability to learn new skills and knowledge through self-initiative and tackling challenges.
